You can see this breathtaking view on the Zillertal suspension bridge. It stretches impressively over the mountains of the Zillertal Alps. It's not without reason that this place is made for taking pictures. Visitors from all over the world have now discovered this and share their Zillertal moments on Instagram. We have some information for you here.
How do you get to the Zillertal Bridge?
The suspension bridge is at an altitude of 2389 m in the Zillertal Alps, just a few meters from the managed Olpererhütte. The starting point of the hike is the car park at the Schlegeis reservoir at the end of the Zillertal. To reach it, drive from Mayrhofen past the village of Ginzling to the toll station. This is where the Schlegeis Alpine Road, which is subject to a toll, begins and leads you to the car park.
Can I get to the bridge by car?
No, unfortunately the mega view is not that easy. The ascent to the bridge takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. If you want to go further, you can still climb a peak. The Olperer, Riffler-Schrammacher or Fußstein summit and also the ascent to the Frozen Wall are possible.
Interesting fact
By the way, the Zillertal suspension bridge is called "Kebema Panoramabrücke" on Google Maps. So don't be surprised if you can't find anything under their Tyrolean name.
